Status strip
In the status strip at the very bottom of the program window you can see information about the current settings and status of WinSplits Pro. The status strip consists of several text boxes, the number of which depends on whether an event and class have been opened, as well as which tab is currently being displayed. Additional information appears for some of the text fields when the mouse cursor is held over them.
- File name of the currently open split time file.
- Name and type of course that runners in the currently open class ran. If there are several different course options for a class (for example, loops that can be run in different orders), you can click on the textbox to create a custom class that includes all the runners with a certain course.
- Current sorting of the runners. Click to change sorting criteria.
- Settings for error-free times. Click to switch between normal times and error-free times.
- When a time-intensive operation, such as opening a large class, is being carried out, a progress indicator is show that reports on the status of the operaion.
- The icon
is shown and a sound is played when a new event has been uploaded to the database. Click on the icon to show the new event in the databse tab. You can turn off this option in the Options dialogue.
- License information, in the form of the license owner's name or the text "Trial version" if no license key has been entered. Click to change the license owner's name and show license conditions.
